OUR GOALS
Lies and I, Chiara, developped a workshop around science in behalf of the VVOB. This is a Belgium institue that wants to improve the education in developing countries.
At VVOB we’re passionate about making a difference in education. Therefore Lies and I created a workshop for all the teaching training students of the primary school and their science teacher trainers. We hope it will allow the students to be inspirated and to share their inspiration with other primary teachers.
The focus of the workshop was on providing valuable, free/cheap materials and alternatives to use them to learn the teachers how to impress children in an interactive manner and to arouse their interest in science.
By offering alternative methods where children are stimulated visually/aurally and where they can experiance themselves, we aim to increase the involvement, the learning efficiency and the learning outcome of students.
The website was build to make sure the experiments, facts and models can be looked at at all times. It's a place where a lot of inspiration can be found.
